STAND for All is an online program offered with remote coaching support designed to teach you skills and strategies to address common issues like low mood, worry, poor sleep, panic and discomfort around others. Courses are self-paced and can be taken anonymously.
STAND for All is an appropriate program for individuals seeking to build resiliency, reduce anxiety or address up to moderate depression. We are currently offering five courses to address different issues. Each course includes six lessons. STAND for All is right for you if you want to work on one of the following:
- Improving your mood
- Worrying less
- Sleeping better
- Getting more comfortable around people
- Dealing with panic

STAND for All was created in response to COVID-19. The program is supported through generous gifts from Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD, Jack Dorsey’s Start Small Fund and other UCLA donors who are passionate about making mental health resources more broadly available to the economically disadvantaged and communities of color who have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic.
UCLA’s initial implementation of STAND for All was through collaborations with three organizations. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we opted to make STAND for All more broadly to the general public.
We continue to maintain the pilot programs with three collaborators:

Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital
The UCLA STAND For All program is a self-guided resource offered with the support of trained coaches. The materials and exercises shared through this program are not considered treatment and should not be viewed as a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy, counseling, or other mental health services. The way the program is designed and the fact that it is supported by certified lay people means that it is not appropriate for individuals experiencing acute symptoms, who are currently in treatment, or requiring treatment.
UCLA recommends that participants seek the advice of their physicians or other qualified health providers with any questions regarding mental health symptoms or medical conditions. Seeking or following professional or medical advice should not be delayed due to participation in the STAND For All program.
